Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Danette found the passion for community service early as she witnessed the challenges up close and personal throughout her adolescent and teenage years. This combined with the numerous experiences she encountered as a "married single mother", she developed the passion to assist other women; growing and finding their calling through service and sisterhood.

Being a child of impoverished upbringing Monique's passion to be a part of changing the community is about giving those in need a better quality of their everyday life; to lessen their struggle and try to improve what they fight for every day; hunger, shelter, and support.
Sisterhood for me is about the mending of different women together to move as one. Joining of women to support one another on journeys that we often find ourselves traveling alone.
